This work begins with the candle, one of the most elemental forms of light within the home. It is a quiet presence that has long accompanied human dwelling, and even now, it lingers as a small, intimate ritual in everyday life.

This series of four candle holders draws from the German tradition of Advent candles, lit in gentle anticipation of Christmas. Formed in stoneware, each piece reveals the natural color and subtle texture of the clay, allowing the material to speak in its own voice. The restrained surfaces soften the visual noise, guiding attention toward the essence of form.

The structures evoking the delicate relationships that shape a home. Each piece exists as a small sculptural body, yet when a flame is lit, it becomes an intimate architecture of light, quietly holding space.
